ReplyDeleteHello, being in Belgium, I thought it might be better to send a direct money donation for this time, it all worked well on the site. You are doing such a great job, thank you so much, I am far away but I am with you in my heart and I hope so very much to be able to visit and help one day. Meanwhile I will be following up on the site/FB. Have a happy time!

We all want the kids to be happy! So contribute for their best interest people!
ReplyDeleteI would like to do something for the Crazy Horse school. As a former teacher I am going to mail out several large boxes of high quality, like new, children's literature. Also, I would like to do something for the kids for Christmas- a fund raiser or toy drive. Where would I send the stuff via mail? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat! Crazy Horse is grades K-12 and the Wanblee CAP (Community Action Program - -a community center) and/or the High Horse family run holiday parties for the children. We try to provide them with Halloween,December and spring Easter Egg parties.
DeleteThe Crazy Horse School address in the above post - just address your books to the Librarian. Make sure to check our shipping instruction tabs for helpful hints. For example, shipping books by media mail will save you a lot of money.
We will be posting the holiday party soon! Thank you for your interest!
Forgot to mention, please let us know what you send so we can keep track of how much is going to each location -- when the volumes start to get overwhelming we direct donations to other schools. Wanblee, in general, is one of the communities with the greatest need.
DeleteAlso forgot to mention, if you are interested in doing an online fundraiser, our Razoo link (top right) has an option for you make your own event that links to our charity. That way you can raise money for a specific project.
You can contact us at lakotakids@gmail.com with any questions!
